Summary:

EVA Receptionist can help you with managing inductions and certificates/work permits for your contractors. Many organizations have a procedure in place where they allow only inducted contractors to sign in to their site. EVA Receptionist can keep track of expiry dates of your contractors' inductions and certificates/work permits and either allow or restrict access to your site. The system is also capable of notifying relevant people when an unauthorized contractor tries to sign in; EVA Receptionist can also display a (configurable) message to the contractor who is not allowed to sign in, or whose induction/certificate has expired.

What logic does the system use when checking contractors' names?

If an ‘inducted person’ record has just the first and last name, no company, then those visitors whose name matches those first and last names will pass the induction check; however, if an ‘inducted person’ record has all three fields populated (first name, last name, company), then a person whose details match only first and last names, but not the company, will not pass the induction check. For example, a person called John Smith would not pass an induction check in EVA Receptionist if the ‘inducted person’ record is John Smith from XYZ Limited. Similarly, if an ‘inducted person’ record does not have a company specified, but a visitor with a matching name specifies a company, then the visitor will not pass the induction check in EVA Receptionist.
