Do you have a requirement to notify more than one person when a visitor arrives? Some of our customers have senior managers that need their PA's to be notified when someone arrives to see them; other customers have a need to notify their Office Management team when visitors arrive. Regardless of why you need to notify an additional person, here are several ways you can achieve this:
1) Most of our customers use Transport (Mail Flow) Rules in their Exchange/Office 365. It is quick and easy for your System Admin to set up. Simply create a rule that would CC a specified email address in all incoming emails from EVA Receptionist.
Here are a couple of sources with instructions on how to create rules if you are using Office365:
2) We can configure your sign-in workflow to add an extra sign-in step that will send an additional email to 1 specified email address. The EVA Receptionist workflow tool is highly functional and can accommodate a number of sign-in scenarios for different visitor types: contractors, general visitors, couriers, etc. Please note that workflow configuration is a chargeable service.
3) You could use our TXT notification functionality and put contact details of different people for the same employee (e.g., you could put the phone number of the actual employee the visitor is seeing, and an email address of that employee’s PA or receptionist).
